Beef and Forage Days is an annual event hosted by Manitoba Agriculture, Food and Rural Initiatives, the Manitoba Forage Council and the Manitoba Cattle Producers Association. Other sponsors include regional and local agribusiness, Green Cover Canada, and the Green House Gas Mitigation Project for Canadian Agriculture championed by the Canadian Cattlemen’s Association.
This yearly seminar moves throughout Manitoba in late January and brings out approximately 1,000 producers who are interested in gaining insight into beef and forage production, grazing management, herd health and more. High profile speakers deliver current, relevant information on many beef and forage issues. As well, exhibitors are on hand to show new products and provide assistance with existing products.
The seminars are held in Holland, Eriksdale, Ste. Rose, Rosa, and Teulon.
